It's fascinating how obsessive some individuals can become in bringing others down.
Once you achieve any level of public recognition, there are always those fixated on attacking and undermining you.
I was relentlessly targeted by one such person who scoured the internet for any mention of the power law in the context of Bitcoin, clearly aiming to discredit my claims of priority.
While thorough research is valuable, this individual's intent was purely adversarial.
At one point, they even presented me with articles that didn't exist, fabricated by ChatGPT hallucinations.
Later, the same person reached out to @JimSixOneEight and Sina (with whom I'd had a prior dispute, making him eager to embrace anything portraying me negatively), insisting that Jim's 2011 post represented an early power law model—despite it bearing no resemblance.
Sina, ever the biased and superficial analyst, began claiming Jim as the originator of the power law without bothering to read or comprehend the original post.
Jim, perpetuating this unhinged pattern after many years, has now seized the opportunity to ambiguously suggest (while not fully committing) that his observation relates to the Power Law in time model. Jim contacted me in the past wanting to know more about the power law and the Power Law trading system. Do you think the author of the power law would do that? I can prove it, I have the convos.
A intriguing slice of Bitcoin community history that I wanted to share.
