I will be honest — my most effective investment strategy so far has simply been HODL. I started entering the crypto market in 2020, bringing with me a bit of anxiety and a lot of questions. At that time, I only bought a little Bitcoin and Ethereum, then just left them in the wallet without touching them.
There have been times when the market surged, making me want to take profits immediately, and there have also been many instances where the market turned red, leaving me confused and wanting to panic sell to "salvage" my investment. But over time, I gradually realized an important lesson: investing in crypto is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but a journey to understand the true value behind projects and patiently wait.
Holding long-term (HODL) is not just about not selling — it is also about the belief in the technology, in the potential to change the world that blockchain brings. Throughout that journey, I have continuously learned: from the workings of the network, tokenomics, to DeFi trends, Layer 2, and the development of Web3. Each new piece of knowledge strengthens my conviction in my decision.
I don't try to "buy the dip, sell the peak," nor do I chase FOMO or FUD. I only stick to one motto: buy, learn, and HODL strong.
