Trump announces that Hegsey will hold a "major press conference"

Trump stated that some B-2 bomber pilots involved in missions against Iran felt proud of the "legendary success" of their mission after completing a dangerous 36-hour flight through enemy airspace. However, two days later, they "felt very sad" while reading news reports released by CNN and the failed New York Times.

Trump wrote in a statement: “These patriots are very frustrated! They know the mission has achieved legendary success and then see the media's distorted reports about them.”

Trump called the relevant reports from CNN and The New York Times "fake news," completely "distorting the facts," and that these media did so "merely to demean me."
