Golden Finance reported that Paypal announced a global Hacker hackathon for its Stable Coin PYUSD, with a total prize pool of 40,000 PYUSD. This initiative was launched after the launch of Paypal Stable Coin on Solana. The hackathon will take place from August 12th to September 16th, aiming to promote innovation and the adoption of PYUSD on Solana. The Paypal technical team said, "In May of this year, Paypal announced the launch of PYUSD on Solana, marking a new opportunity and adoption phase for Stable Coin payments." They added, "Today, we are excited to announce the launch of the first global PYUSD portal hackathon, which is launched in collaboration with Paypal and Portal, and built on Solana."
